Clement Desalle: A Rare look Inside

Step into the world of Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Clement Desalle: one of MXGP’s best, fastest and most mysterious racers. Journey into the rarely seen private life of this fantastic Belgian motocross athlete.

More than twenty Grand Prix wins and almost a decade as one of the title contenders of MXGP has not stopped Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Clement Desalle preserving a degree of mystery. FIM Motocross World Championship fans know about the #25, the rivalry with Tony Cairoli, the stylish rider with the KX450F that can also switch into a feisty combatant at the drop of a piece of roost.

But what else do race fans really know about the mercurial and private 29 year old Belgian?

For the first time Clement opened the doors to his home, his passions for family, other motorcycles, animals and flying. He talks about the demands and strains of maintaining ambitions and goals to stay at the front of MXGP. He explains the reason for the enduring number ‘25’ and also shows us around the narrow, claustrophobic and spectacular tree-lined track where he learned to ride as a youngster and still sometimes trains to this very day.
This latest special video by award-winning creative Mikey Neale reveals some of the personality of one of MXGP’s perfectionist stars, and provides a rare insight into the motivations and character of a superb and recognised racing talent.
